FAWQC Golf Tournament
FAWQC will hold its annual golf tournament on April 18, 2014 at the Celebration Golf Club. Join us for a great day of golf and networking to help fund FAWQC Environmental Education (E2) grants. Annual Membership Meeting
The annual FAWQC membership meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on June 10, 2014, at the Waldorf Astoria Naples (formerly The Naples Grande), Naples, Florida
In 2011, the Florida Association for Water Quality Control founded two leadership awards to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the management of our water resources: the Sam Zamani “Unsung Hero” Award and the the Wade Hopping “Leadership” Award. The 2013 recipient of the Sam Zamani “Unsung Hero” award is Mr. Jon Hull of S&ME. The 2013 recipient of the Wade Hopping Leadership Award is Mr. Drew Bartlett of the FDEP. The Association will be presenting our next class of FAWQC award winners at the 2014 conference, June 11-13, 2014. Now it’s your turn to help FAWQC recognize the contributions of your colleagues. E2 Fund Application
Last year, FAWQC gave over $10,000 in grants to schools to fund science education. In fact, FAWQC has given over $40,000 in grants to Florida schools since 2004. Applications for the 2014-2015 Grants are due by October 15, 2014. You can now complete an E2 grant application online. Additional information on the E2 Fund and a link to a application form in PDF can be found on the E2 Fund page.
FAWQC is a Florida Board of Professional Engineer Continuing Education Provider offering Area of Practice Courses for the period 06/01/06 - 05/31/14. Our provider number is Provider Number #0003334. We will offer up to 8 hours of CE for PE's for attending the 2014 conference.
